SONA - "Gold"
SONA Lit. "Gold" is one of the two Showstoppers of the "Woven Through Time" Exclusive Collection. On a Brick Red 100% India Cotton base-fabric, gold nuggets seem to have been strewn in the shape of about 500 Four-Petalled Chevron Flowers in Warm Orange and Golden Yellow. A set of Four Leaves is embroidered around each flower in Spring Green. Widthwise borders have 90 diamond-shaped motifs in Orange, Yellow and Green.
This exquisite piece of craftsmanship is finished with Gold Lace on all sides and in one corner, you can even see this Lace used as a "Nazar Battu" (an imperfection created purposefully in order to ward off the evil eye!). It comes stretched and framed in a wooden frame.
SONA took an estimated 550 hours to handcraft.
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 7.5 Feet Long x 3.25 Feet Wide
